WHITE HART CRYSTAL PALACE
BRIEF
Castle pubs are a chain of 82 pubs in and around London, they asked 1977 Design to rebrand some of their most popular pubs. All of the Castle pubs are going through a renovation project to push the pubs as a high end gastro pub.
The rebrand is rolled out through a range of collateral items such business stationery, tab cards, postcards, flyers etc. As this was a collateral pack set up by Castle Pubs we had no control over print techniques and formats.
SOLUTION
Rebranding a drinkers pub into a high end gastro pub. The White Hart Crystal Palace has an open kitchen located centrally in the pub. Cooking utensils and pans hang from the shelving around the kitchen and can be seen from most seating areas. The identity and image approach is based on a bric-a-brac Victorian style which is used to represent the open kitchen as this is a
focal area.
